The city of London truly has something for you. From Students points of view London is the cultural melting pot of the whole universe which caters for all tastes in arts, culture, leisure and entertainment. Communication and travel links are excellent, which means getting around the rest of UK easy and comfortable. There are 5 international airports around London: Heathrow, Gatwick, City, Luton and Stansted. Eurostar trains run from Brussels and Paris to London Waterloo station.
For overseas visitors London is the most popular town which is attractive, prosperous and holds a friendly community of about 7,187,400 people. In addition, it is a clean, well-kept, safe and friendly place to live. Bustling by day and lively by night, London is a centre for industry, research, learning and life.

Traveling
 
Public transportation within London is fast, reliable and comfortable. You will find routes covered dynamically by bus, train, tube (underground), c2c and British rail services. Please visit www.tfl.gov.uk for more details.
You can have 30% discount on London transport. If you are a full time student aged 18 or over you can apply for a London Transport Student Photo Card. Discounts on coach and British Rail services are also available for students.
 
London nights
 
London exposes itself with a marvelous variety of entertainment by night.
You will fine every inventive choice to enjoy the nights of the 24-hour city. You’ll find the Friday and Saturday nights absolutely alive with selection of productions and enjoyment for every taste. Whether you area culture vulture or obsessed in making friends and going to a club, you’re sure to find something you like.
 
Shopping
 
When it comes to shopping, you don’t need to think about anything. London has hundreds of shopping malls, shopping centers with almost 50,000 shops which will give you all variety of products you may need. Whatever your budget, you will always be amazed while shopping in London. If you don’t always fancy shopping in the expensive shopping malls you will always find street markets which are much cheaper and you can find almost everything there. The busiest shopping areas in London are Oxford Street, Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Bond Street, canary wharf, King’s Road, Carnaby street etc.
 
Eating out
 
There are a wide variety of restaurants, bars, fast food shops, snack bars are available within two minutes' walk from the college campus. Hot and cold drinks and light snacks are available in the College. You will find the best value and variety of food in London. If you’d prefer something traditionally English, you can try bread & beans, fish & chips or sandwiches. Alongside with the traditional English food all other international cuisines from South-Asia, China, Japan, Portugal etc are available at your easy reach.
 
Student life
 
If you have big interest in sports, tours and other leisure time activities Brit college has much more to offer you. We strongly aim to accommodate our students with sports, study tours, cultural events, get together facilities etc. We always encourage students from different year and course groups to mix up for social and cultural activities in between the terms. Activities include visits to historical places or exhibitions, arrangements for theatre and cinemas etc. These events helps student to get to know and to be integrated to the society they are living in. There are some attractive and fabulous places very near to your college campus. You will find them perfect to enjoy your leisure time almost every day.
There are many cinemas, theatres, pubs & clubs, museums, arts and culture and other places for entertainment in London. Though some of them can be expensive, these are great place to make friends and socialize with.
