Professional Graduate Diploma in IT
Brit College as an accredited centre provides tuition towards a BCS qualification. Our IT programme comprises the state of the art technology, a modern computer lab, a library, professional teaching staff and a highly motivated administration section. We ensure individual care to each student.

The three levels of examination (Certificate, Diploma, and Professional Graduate Diploma) and associated projects have been developed in consultation with employers to meet the demands and evolving needs of the IT community.

With members in over 100 countries around the world, BCS is the only Chartered Engineering Institution for IT professionals, which awards an internationally recognised professional qualification. Established in 1957, the British Computer Society (BCS) is the leading body for those working in IT.

Duration: Three(3) years

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or over.
Applicants should have passed in either:
Two subjects at GCE 'A' Level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE 'O' Level
(at not less than grade C or a 'pass') with no less than grade C in a mathematical subject.
or three subjects at GCE 'A' Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE 'O' Level (at not less than grade C)
or two subjects at GCE 'A' Level + two further subjects at 'AS' Level.
or any other overseas equivalent qualifications.

This level consists of a two-hour written paper on each of the three compulsory modules:

FIA (Foundations in Accountancy)

BRIT College offers Foundations in Accountancy, allowing maximum flexibility for prospective students to select the most appropriate entry route and progression to additional qualifications, based on their previous qualifications, experience and future career aspirations.

Entry requirements:
• 10+2/ Intermediate Certificate/ Higher School Certificate/ Higher Secondary Certificate/ Senior School Certificate/ Pre-university Course or 5 GCSE or Polytechnic/ College of Technology Diploma (2 years) or equivalents.
• A minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS or English CEFR level B2 or ESOL level 1 or equivalents.

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

ACCA is the global body of professional accountants.

Learning Aim:
The ACCA qualification is a passport to a new world of opportunities in accountancy and finance. The degree is awarded in two phases - Foundation and Professional level.

Entry Requirements:

Entry pathway-1

  • Two A Levels and three GCSEs or equivalent in five separate subjects, including English and Mathematics

Entry pathway-2

  • Technician level entry or equivalent e.g. Foundations in Accountancy, CAT

Entry pathway-3

  • Graduate entry for accredited degrees from recognised institutions.

NB. Students who complete up to F9 are eligible to get BSc (Hons) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University. This degree is qualified for PSW visa.

 ACCA exams are held twice a year, in June and December.
 Exam entry closing date of 15 April for June exams and 15 October for December exams
