Learning Aim

The aim of the programme is to develop an appreciation of the people-management functions within the organisation. This course provides a general introduction to the relevance of the systems approach. It also asks candidates to consider administration in its wider organisational context. Candidates are introduced to some of the key concerns of administrative managers within a rapidly changing environment. It also develops candidate’s appreciation of the need to manage information.

The Organization for Tourism and Hospitality Management (OTHM)

OTHM of UK in collaboration with the London South Bank University (LSBU) offers professional qualifications in tourism and hospitality management. The organization has already obtained worldwide recognition for good practice. The University of London is one of the leading universities in the world. It has been offering its external degree programmes to students for almost 150 years. The university’s English Law degree (the LLB) is a traditional prestigious law degree.

Learning Aim
The objective of the programme is to enable you to develop critical awareness of common law & legal tradition and to provide training in legal research methods and study skills.

Duration: Three (3) years

Entry Requirements
In order to satisfy the entrance requirements for the LLB you must normally be 18 years of age at the time of registration and have passes in:

	Either two subjects at GCE 'A' level and at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE 'O' level (at not less than grade C or a ‘pass’ if taken prior to 1975)
	or three subjects at GCE 'A' level (one 'A' level at not less than Grade D) or above
	or three subjects at GCE 'A' level and one further subject at GCSE/GCE 'O' level at Grade C or above
	or two subjects at GCE 'A' level, plus two further subjects at GCE 'AS' level

English language requirement-
The University of London reserves the right to request applicants to provide evidence acceptable to the University of oral and written competence in English before an offer of registration can be made.

Assessment:
All assessments are set and marked by the awarding body. Examinations are conducted in centres in the UK and around the world. Exams are held once a year commencing in May /June. Each unit is assessed by a three-hour unseen written paper.

You may want to become a solicitor or a barrister or go for employment after successful completion of your law degree. If your purpose in undertaking the LLB is to practice as a solicitor or barrister in required subjects and also subsidiary requirements, e.g. about the number of attempts at passing examinayour jurisdiction, you need to be aware that different jurisdictions have varying prescriptions about tions. Students should register with ABE and be accepted for a particular level of examination BEFORE enrolling on an ABE course at college. Students who do not qualify for a particular level of examination will be refused admission to that level even if they have already started on a college course.
